Job Title: Manager, Advisory Services
Department: Valuations
Reports to: Head of Valuation

 

JOB SCOPE – To manage the general valuation portfolio and ensure all valuation duties assigned are professionally carried out; establish policies governing all valuation activities company-wide in order to ensure achievement of profit and growth targets. Managing the financial analyst team within a region to implement best practice and to ensure high quality valuations and/or FS reports are achieved. To make recommendations and improvements and maintain all data including valuation, workflow and performance (non exhaustive)

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Business Development

  • Maintain the client network and seeking new clients for company in general and for Department in particular
  • Analyse legal issues pertaining to the property market and Savills report
  • Liaise with clients to reply to all queries relating to the properties valued or obtain all necessary documentation to undertake valuations
  • Produce presentations and prepare office newsletters and press releases when required
  • Supporting the company's marketing effort and enhancing its reputation in the industry by establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key customers and intermediaries

Financial Analyst

  • Complete property valuations using the financial models
  • Adapt the company’s valuation model for different property valuations
  • Complete feasibility studies using the financial models
  • Adapt the financial models for different feasibility studies
  • Write valuation reports, using the company’s standard format
  • Write feasibility study reports, using the company’s standard format
  • Liaise with the valuation, research, property management, agency and other departments within the company to ensure a total understanding of the property market in Vietnam
  • Liaise with clients independently to secure additional work for the company
  • Maintain relationships with banks, investment funds and other financial institutions in Vietnam to ensure a detailed knowledge of the market and investor expectations
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of accounting practices and land law in Vietnam
 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economic/ Banking/ Accounting/Finance
  • At least 5 years working in related field
  • Experiences in Financial Modeling, Feasibility Study, Valuation
  • Good experience in data collection and database management
  • Proficient in English
