Brett Ashton
Managing Director
Brett Ashton has lived and worked in Vietnam since 1995 and has over 13 years of real estate experience in South East Asian markets. He was HCMC Branch Director responsible for Savills’ operations from Danang to HCMC prior to being appointed as Managing Director of Savills Vietnam in 2007, where he now oversees the 500 Savills staff countrywide
Neil MacGregor
Deputy Managing Director
Neil trained and qualified as a real estate specialist in London, England, gaining experience in property valuation and investment. Acting as Senior Surveyor with the international investment team at DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, Neil was responsible for major property investment acquisitions and sales throughout the UK and Europe. He advised on the acquisition of over GBP 100 million and sales of GBP 50 million of investment property. He provided valuation and investment advice to major institutional clients, including a number of German open-ended funds. Development funding advice for major institutional clients, including a number of German open-ended funds.
Currently based in Savills’ Ho Chi Minh City office he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Investment Advisory Division, and oversees the activities of the Tenant Representation and Industrial Consultancy Departments
John Gallander
Director of Savills Hanoi
John has over 27 years of experience in the commercial real estate business at top senior positions within prestigious real estate firms in USA and Vietnam. He is currently in charge of Savills Hanoi operation, and oversees 135 staff while leading and supervising all business lines of Savills in the North Region of Vietnam.
John has worked in Vietnam since January 2008, and started as Associate Director of Corporate Services for CB Richard Ellis, where he oversaw the office and industrial service lines in Hanoi and Hai Phong. John joined Knight Frank as Country Managing Director in 2009 to oversee nationwide operations of both Hanoi head office and HCMC branch office, comprising over 100 employees.
In the USA, John performed in a variety of marketing, managerial, and executive positions at Equity Office Properties Trust (1992-2007). Equity Office was the largest publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) in the USA with a total market capitalization of over $40 billion dollars. As Vice President – Asset Management in Chicago, Illinois (2006-2007), John was responsible for the bottom line financial results of an 18 million square foot Class A & B office portfolio in Seattle, Bellevue, Portland and Denver, valued at $6.2 billion. John had lease signing authority of $100 million and oversaw a staff of 400 employees.

Guy Major
National Sales Director
After graduating in Law in 1989 Guy went into Institutional Asian equity sales becoming head of sales at Development Bank of Singapore Securities London office. He later worked as director of sales in the DBS Hong Kong office.
Rupert Provest
Director of Agency
Rupert has been in the property industry for over 15 years initially in London with the sales of luxury properties in both central London and Surrey Estates. From there he moved to Property Portfolio Management and acquisitions for and on behalf of high net worth individuals including many high profile sporting celebrities within the United Kingdom.

Vu Thi Nhu Xuan
Director, Property Management
Ms. Xuan joined Savills Vietnam in 2006. In her capacity as Director of Property Management she is responsible for the daily operation of the entire Property Management department. The Savills Vietnam Property Management Division now manages more than 30 major properties, from residential to large mixed-use commercial.
Troy Griffiths
National Director, Research and Valuation
Troy has in excess of 25 years property experience across all asset classes having previously practiced in Australia, NZ and the Pacific. He has a valuation background and specialises in Strategic Property Consultancy particularly favoring Development Advisory.
